Requirements:​

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆: 

A HHA CNA & PCA is responsible for assisting Inspiring Care at Home clients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, and otherwise providing support to a client so that he or she may continue to live independently.  A HHA CNA & PCA may also provide companion and chore services with the goal of meeting a client’s emotional and environmental needs.  A HHA CNA & PCA must demonstrate a commitment to customer service and a team mentality.

𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀:

•  High school diploma or GED equivalency
• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and current automobile insurance
• Clean criminal history and driver’s record​

• Negative TB

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆/𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

• Knowledge and understanding of attendant care and companion services
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being able to read, write and speak English
• Ability to meet physical demands of the position
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Mature and responsible judgment needed to assist client in meeting his or her goals and ensure confidentiality at all times
• Ability to follow direction and accurately report to supervisor issues or changes in client’s condition
• Ability to use assistive equipment, including Hoyer lift and wheelchairs

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

Position requires the ability to walk, sit, stand; lift, push and pull up to 50 pounds unassisted and 350 pounds with assistance; squat, bend, reach and stretch.
